Cookie notice

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores so a website can remember something between pages. These are ours:

• Visitor id (mnd_vid): a random string that lets us count visits and follow a purchase back to the page it started on, without knowing who you are. Kept for 12 months.
• Where you came from (mnd_attr): the first link or page that brought you here, so we know what is working. Kept for 90 days. The most recent link is kept in your browser's local storage the same way.
• Promo code (mnd_promo): a code from an email link, so it is still there at checkout. Kept for up to 60 days.
• Analytics opt-out (mnd_optout): remembers that you turned analytics off, so we keep it off. Kept for 2 years.
• Internal traffic (mnd_internal): set only on our own computers so our visits are left out of the numbers. You will never have this one.
• Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): our analytics tool, only if you have not opted out. IP addresses are truncated, ad features are off, and we never send it your email or name.
• Payment page (only while you pay): fraud prevention and keeping your payment session alive. Set by our payment processor under its own privacy policy.
• Booking page (only while you book): keeps your booking in progress while you pick a time. Set by our booking provider under its own privacy policy.

None of these cookies are used for advertising, profiling, or following you to other websites.

Cookie banners exist to collect consent for ad tracking. We do not do any ad tracking, so there is nothing to ask permission for. The strictly necessary cookies (visitor id, attribution, opt-out, and the payment and booking pages) are needed for the site to work and are allowed without consent under privacy law.

Analytics is the one thing you might reasonably want to switch off, so instead of a banner there is an opt-out that is always one click away on this page, and it never nags you.

• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or with a browser extension. We honor the signal automatically: analytics stays off for that browser.
• Email privacy@getmendaro.com and ask us to set the opt-out for your account. We will do it and confirm.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site still works; you may need to log in again and analytics will count you as a new visitor.

The analytics switch at the top of this page sets the opt-out cookie and stops analytics loading in that browser, with no account needed. Our own visit counter keeps running but marks you as opted out, so reports can leave you out.

If we add a cookie or change what one does, we update the list above and the date at the top. We will never add advertising cookies without telling you first and asking for your consent.
